  • TrainBrainSpace: Expert AI Trainers in Coding, Finance & Accounting, and Medicine/Nursing

    Headquarters: Atlanta, AZ.

    URL: https://trainbrain.space/

What if the work you already do every day — shipping code, closing books, reading charts — became the training signal that teaches frontier AI how to think in your field?

TrainBrain builds expert-authored training data and evaluations for AI labs. We’re hiring practising professionals to write, solve, and grade the tasks advanced models are measured against. When a model returns a broken function, a wrong reconciliation, or an unsafe clinical suggestion, it’s because no expert caught it during training. You’d be that expert.

This isn’t your day job in a new wrapper. There are no clients, no month-end close, no tickets, no on-call. You work in writing, on your own schedule, on problems chosen to sit right at the edge of what current models can handle.

No AI background required — we train you on the tooling.

    Track 1 — Software Engineering

Write, debug, and optimise code across languages and problem domains. Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, security, and performance, and design edge cases that expose model weaknesses. Provide structured feedback explaining why code works — or doesn’t — and compare competing solutions on engineering quality.

    You’ll need:

    • Advanced proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C/C++, Go, or Rust
    • A solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
    • A CS degree or equivalent professional experience

    Nice to have:

    • Open-source contributions or competitive programming
    • Distributed systems, cloud, or DevOps background
    • Code review, technical writing, or mentoring experience

    Track 2 — Finance & Accounting

Author reconciliation scenarios: payment-to-invoice matching, billing versus recognised revenue, margin and variance analysis. Build the underlying data and source documents so each scenario is realistic, write rubrics specifying exact figures and required reasoning steps, then solve every task yourself to confirm the numbers hold.

    You’ll need:

    • Hands-on experience as an accountant, financial analyst, controller, or auditor
    • Working knowledge of revenue recognition, matching principles, and standard close workflows
    • Comfort with financial documents, spreadsheets, and accounting system outputs

    Nice to have:

    • CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA
    • IFRS or US GAAP depth
    • ERP familiarity (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks)
    • Audit, financial controls, or revenue assurance background

    Track 3 — Medical & Clinical

Challenge models on differential diagnosis, drug interactions, treatment protocols, pathophysiology, and evidence appraisal. Write clinical vignettes with defensible, sourced answers, verify model outputs against current evidence, and document precisely where reasoning breaks down.

    You’ll need:

    • An MD, DO, MBBS, PharmD, RN/BSN, or advanced health sciences degree
    • Real clinical or research experience
    • Command of medical terminology and clinical reasoning

    Nice to have:

    • Board certification or active licensure
    • A specialty focus (internal medicine, oncology, psychiatry, emergency medicine, radiology, nursing practice)
    • Peer-reviewed publications
    • Clinical trial, epidemiology, or medical education experience

    What the work demands

Whatever your track, four things matter more than anything else.

Show your work. Making your reasoning explicit matters as much as the answer itself.

Be verifiable. Every task you write needs a correct answer someone else can confirm.

Iterate. You’ll refine tasks until difficulty and gradability are both right.

Flag uncertainty. Saying “I’m not sure, and here’s why” is a feature, not a failure.

You’ll also need excellent written English, sharp attention to detail, and a secure computer with reliable internet.

    Terms

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not W-2 employment. You’re responsible for your own taxes, and company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance, PTO, and retirement contributions don’t apply. Contractors outside the US are engaged under the equivalent local arrangement.

Pay: $45–$100/hr, set by domain, seniority, and assessment performance. Specialised and hard-to-source expertise sits at the top of the band, and you’re paid on a regular cadence.

Schedule: Choose your own projects, hours, and volume. Scale up in quiet weeks, scale down when your day job gets busy.

Growth: Strong contributors are invited into higher-rate specialist projects and review roles, with ongoing work as new engagements launch.

  • Mercury: Senior Product Designer Mobile

Headquarters: San Francisco, CA, New York, NY, Portland, OR, or Remote within Canada or United States

The Memphis Group burst onto the scene in the early 1980s with a belief that design could be more than purely functional, it could be bold, expressive, and deeply human. They expanded what design could be, embracing color, emotion, and personality at a time when clarity and restraint dominated. That same spirit of possibility, of questioning defaults and reimagining what tools can feel like, still resonates today.

At Mercury, we’re building *banking for builders. Entrepreneurs who are often on the go and need to manage their business from anywhere. People who live complex lives who need their personal finances to feel like a breeze. We’re rethinking what financial tools can feel like when they’re designed with real people in mind: fast, expressive, and thoughtfully crafted from the ground up.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help define what modern *banking should feel like for founders on the go. This role is unique because you’ll help define the holistic future of Mercury’s mobile experience, not just design features. You’ll work alongside another senior designer focused on pushing craft forward, ship high-impact work quickly and see it used by real businesses immediately, and have room to explore ambitious ideas and turn them into real products.

    What you’ll do

    • Lead design for major mobile initiatives from concept through launch and iteration
    • Shape the vision for Mercury’s native iOS and Android experiences
    • Turn complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive interactions
    • Work closely with product managers and engineers to decide what to build and why
    • Prototype ideas quickly to explore direction, test assumptions, and refine details
    • Design polished, production-ready interfaces with exceptional craft and precision
    • Contribute to our design systems and help evolve patterns across platforms
    • Raise the quality bar for interaction, visual design, and product thinking across the team

    What we’re looking for

    • 6+ years designing high-quality product experiences
    • Strong visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for detail
    • Experience designing complex systems, not just individual screens
    • Ability to work through ambiguity and drive projects forward independently
    • Clear communicator who can articulate decisions and influence product direction
    • Experience designing native mobile apps (iOS and/or Android)
    • Thoughtful collaborator who makes teammates better

  • Postscript: Business Development Representative

Headquarters: Remote, Anywhere in North America

Postscript is the AI messaging platform trusted by 20,000+ Shopify brands — including Brooklinen, Ruggable, True Classic, and Dr. Squatch.

With a mission to make SMS your number one revenue driving channel, we built the best-in-class SMS marketing platform and launched revenue-driving AI features not available on any other platform. And we’re just getting started.

Backed by Greylock and Y Combinator, fully remote since 2018.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Postscript, you’ll be on the front lines, identifying, engaging, and making initial connections with ecommerce businesses ready to unlock significant growth through SMS. You’ll be a vital ambassador for our brand, product, and company, playing a direct role in our continued success. Your day-to-day will involve building targeted account lists, sparking new opportunities through thoughtful and creative outreach, and ensuring a smooth hand-off to our Account Executives once you’ve qualified the prospect.

This is a fully remote opportunity, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in North America.

    Primary duties

    • Identify and qualify ecommerce brands that align with our ideal customer profile and demonstrate a strong potential for growth with Postscript.
    • Consistently achieve and exceed your targets for generating qualified new business opportunities.
    • Skillfully utilize a range of tools and technologies to research, identify, and connect with potential customers. You’ll be encouraged to think creatively and resourcefully in your outreach efforts.
    • Professionally represent Postscript’s product, brand, and company in every interaction, clearly and concisely articulating how we can help ecommerce businesses thrive.
    • Maintain exceptional standards for timeliness, responsiveness, and diligent follow-up with prospects.
    • Accurately manage your activities and pipeline within Salesforce CRM, ensuring all sales data is consistently updated.
    • Build foundational relationships with prospective customers, setting the stage for their future success with Postscript. You’ll work closely with Account Executives to collaboratively nurture these early-stage opportunities.
    • Continuously learn about our customers’ marketing strategies, technology landscape, and broader business objectives.
    • Collaborate with members of the Go-to-Market (GTM) team to contribute to the refinement of our sales process.
    • AI-Enhanced Personalization: Leverage AI tools to analyze prospect data (e.g., LinkedIn activity, earnings reports, or tech stack changes) to craft hyper-personalized outreach at scale, moving beyond generic templates to drive higher response rates.
    • Workflow Automation & Optimization: Utilize AI-powered sales tools to automate administrative tasks—such as CRM data entry, meeting summarization, and lead prioritization—freeing up more time for high-value strategic research and live prospect engagement.
