  • Zapiet: Head of Marketing

    Headquarters: UK

    URL: https://zapiet.com/

Location: Remote, with a preference for candidates based in the UK
Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year, depending on experience
    Bonus: Performance-related bonus
Reporting to: Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Executive Officer

This is a remote role, and we welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates in other locations. However, candidates based in the UK are preferred due to working hours and the need to collaborate closely with Zapiet’s leadership team.

    About Zapiet

Zapiet helps Shopify merchants offer exceptional pickup, delivery and shipping experiences.

Our products are used by more than 10,000 merchants around the world, from independent businesses to some of the world’s best-known brands. We are a remote, bootstrapped SaaS company with ambitious plans for the next stage of our growth.

We are looking for a commercially focused Head of Marketing to help more merchants discover, adopt and succeed with Zapiet’s products.

    The role

As Head of Marketing, your primary responsibility will be to increase revenue by driving awareness, adoption and continued use of Zapiet’s products.

You will turn our wider company and marketing strategy into focused campaigns that generate measurable results. You will own the marketing funnel, from discovery and acquisition through to activation, expansion and retention.

You will also manage and grow a team of internal and external specialists across email marketing, SEO, answer engine optimisation, content, communications and other marketing disciplines.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You should be comfortable setting strategy, managing specialists, analysing performance and stepping in to help execute when needed.

You will work closely with our CMO, CEO, product, sales, partnerships and customer support teams.

    Your responsibilities

    Increase product adoption and revenue

    • Develop and deliver marketing plans that increase installations, product adoption and recurring revenue.

    • Identify the biggest opportunities within our acquisition, activation, retention and expansion funnels.

    • Create campaigns that clearly communicate how Zapiet’s products help merchants increase revenue, reduce costs and improve their operations.

    • Increase adoption across Zapiet’s complete product portfolio through cross-selling, product education and lifecycle marketing.

    • Support new product and feature launches with clear positioning, messaging and go-to-market plans.

    • Develop campaigns for specific industries, merchant segments and geographic markets.

    • Turn merchant success stories into compelling case studies, campaigns and sales materials.

    Own marketing performance

    • Set clear targets and KPIs for every marketing channel.

    • Build reporting that connects marketing activity to installations, qualified opportunities, product adoption and recurring revenue.

    • Monitor performance across the full funnel and identify where merchants are dropping off.

    • Run structured experiments to improve conversion, activation and retention.

    • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources to the channels producing the strongest commercial results.

    • Report performance, insights and priorities directly to the CMO and CEO.

Lead and grow the marketing team

    • Manage and develop a team of specialists across email marketing, SEO, AEO, content and communications.

    • Recruit additional expertise as the marketing function grows.

    • Set clear goals, responsibilities and performance expectations.

    • Create an environment where specialists can do their best work while remaining accountable for measurable outcomes.

    • Coordinate internal team members, agencies, freelancers and technology partners.

    • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.

    Strengthen Zapiet’s market position

    • Refine the positioning and messaging of Zapiet and its products.

    • Improve Zapiet’s visibility across search engines, AI answer platforms, industry publications and the wider Shopify ecosystem.

    • Build relationships with Shopify agencies, technology partners, influencers and ecommerce communities.

    • Identify emerging changes in SaaS marketing, ecommerce discovery and merchant buying behaviour.

    • Ensure Zapiet’s communications are clear, distinctive and consistent across every channel.

    What we are looking for

    • Significant experience marketing SaaS products, ideally within ecommerce, Shopify or B2B software.

    • A proven record of increasing product adoption, recurring revenue or qualified pipeline through marketing.

    • Experience leading and developing a multidisciplinary marketing team.

    • Strong knowledge of lifecycle and email marketing, SEO, content, communications and product marketing.

    • A practical understanding of answer engine optimisation and how AI is changing product discovery.

    • Experience developing and executing go-to-market plans for products and features.

    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect marketing activity with commercial results.

    • Experience setting targets, managing budgets and reporting performance to senior leadership.

    • Excellent project management skills and the ability to keep multiple campaigns moving.

    • Native-level written and spoken English, with exceptional attention to detail.

    • A willingness to be hands-on and take ownership of outcomes.

You will do well in this role if you

    • Think about revenue and product adoption, not vanity metrics.

    • Can turn a broad strategy into a focused and achievable plan.

    • Understand how acquisition, activation, retention and expansion work together.

    • Are comfortable challenging assumptions and testing new ideas.

    • Know how to lead experts without needing to be the deepest specialist in every discipline.

    • Communicate openly, make decisions using evidence and take responsibility for results.

    • Enjoy working in a fast-moving, international and remote environment.

    How success will be measured

Your performance will be assessed against agreed commercial and marketing targets, which may include:

    • Growth in marketing-attributed recurring revenue.

    • Growth in product installations and qualified merchant opportunities.

    • Improvements in trial-to-paid and install-to-activation conversion.

    • Increased adoption of additional Zapiet products.

    • Growth in organic, email, partner and AI-assisted discovery channels.

    • Merchant retention and expansion revenue.

    • The performance and development of the marketing team.

    • Efficient use of the marketing budget.

A performance-related bonus will be paid based on the achievement of agreed targets.

    What we offer

    • A salary of £40,000–£50,000 per year, depending on experience.

    • A performance-related bonus.

    • Remote and flexible working.

    • The opportunity to shape the marketing strategy of an established, international SaaS company.

    • Direct access to Zapiet’s CMO and CEO.

    • The freedom to build a talented marketing team and introduce new ideas.

    • The opportunity to work with Shopify merchants, agencies and technology partners around the world.

    Equal opportunities

Zapiet welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds. We make hiring decisions based on experience, ability and the contribution each person can make to our team.

  • OnTheGoSystems: Data Analyst – AI Translation Quality

    Headquarters: Remote

    URL: http://onthegosystems.com

At OnTheGoSystems, we’re building AI systems that help people translate content across many languages. Our LLM team works with AI-generated translations, user edits, customer feedback, and quality data to continuously improve translation quality.

We’re looking for a Data Analyst who enjoys solving open-ended problems, finding patterns in complex datasets, and turning data into practical recommendations. This is not a reporting role. You’ll decide what to measure, investigate why things happen, and help the team make better decisions based on evidence.

    What you’ll do

You’ll own analytical problems from start to finish.

For example, you may discover that users edit translations much more often for one language pair than another. Instead of simply reporting it, you’ll investigate why. You’ll form hypotheses, gather the data, test possible explanations, and recommend the next steps.

    Your work will include:

    • Defining meaningful metrics for translation quality, AI performance, and user behavior.

    • Monitoring trends and identifying unusual patterns or quality issues.

    • Turning observations into structured investigations and testing multiple hypotheses.

    • Extracting and combining data from SQL databases, NoSQL databases, logs, APIs, and CSV exports.

    • Comparing results across language pairs, AI models, providers, customers, content types, traffic levels, and other dimensions.

    • Separating real signals from coincidence by validating findings with data.

    • Reviewing translation samples to confirm whether patterns represent genuine quality issues.

    • Investigating root causes and recommending practical improvements.

    • Evaluating multilingual AI output for meaning, terminology, tone, formality, grammar, pronouns, and consistency.

    • Using AI tools, dictionaries, and other resources to investigate languages you don’t speak, while recognizing when expert linguistic input is needed.

    • Reviewing AI-generated analyses, identifying incorrect conclusions, and helping improve our automated evaluation systems.

    • Building repeatable reports, scripts, and monitoring processes.

    • Communicating findings clearly to developers, product managers, and linguists.

    What we’re looking for

    • Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and attention to detail.

    • The ability to work independently and define what should be investigated.

    • Experience turning open-ended questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.

    • A solid understanding of metrics, segmentation, distributions, correlations, and the difference between correlation and causation.

    • Experience writing SQL, Python, or similar scripts to collect, clean, and analyze data.

    • Experience working with multiple data sources, including databases, logs, APIs, and exported datasets.

    • Strong hands-on experience using AI tools while critically evaluating their output.

    • Fluent English plus at least one additional language (preferably European), with the ability to assess translation quality and explain language issues.

    • Clear written communication and the ability to explain analytical findings to non-technical colleagues.

    Bonus points for experience with:

    • Translation quality or localization.

    • Multilingual content.

    • Data visualization or business intelligence tools.

    Why join us?

You’ll work on real AI systems used by customers around the world and directly influence how we measure and improve machine translation quality.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys exploring difficult questions, testing ideas, and discovering insights that aren’t immediately obvious. You’ll have the freedom to propose your own analyses and the responsibility to turn them into evidence-based recommendations.

    What we offer

    • 100% remote position,

    • Body and Mind Movement program to fill you up with energy,

    • A computer budget to make your workplace better,

    • A Kindle device with access to our company Amazon account,

    • We respect national holidays in each country and want you to have a rest these days,

    • Great opportunity to progress and advance,

    • Collaborating with team members across the globe.

If you’re excited by data, languages, AI, and solving complex problems, apply now, and we’d love to hear from you!

  • Yoko Co: Front-End WordPress Developer

    Headquarters: McLean, VA

    URL: https://www.yokoco.com/

We’re seeking a Front-End Developer who wants to make the world a better place through clean code, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a genuine love of building great websites.

This isn’t just about turning designs into code, it’s about translating ideas into experiences, solving problems along the way, and taking pride in the details that make a site feel right. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the craft of front-end development, cares about doing things the right way, and is always looking for a better, more efficient way to build.

    Why work at Yoko Co?

    • Do good, better: We exclusively serve clients who make a positive impact on the world. This is your chance to build things that help create a better place for all of us.
    • 4-day flex week and lots of holidays. Mondays are flex days, meaning you’re free to take them off if you’re caught up on your work. Plus, we’re closed for nearly a full week at Thanksgiving (November), and two weeks at the end of the year, plus a bunch of other days, too.
    • High performance, no jerks. You’ll collaborate with good people who believe in doing great work. Best Place to Work (and that’s not just our opinion).
    • We’ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Inc. 5000 and Washington Business Journal. We value team members who are motivated by our mission and driven to make a positive impact.

If you have a passion for excellence, a growth mindset, and a commitment to collaboration, we’d love to hear from you.

    What you’ll do:

As part of our development team, you’ll build websites and features from design references, turning Figma files into clean, maintainable, production-ready code. Our primary stack is built on Gutenberg block themes, so you’ll spend most of your time there, though you may also work on traditional WordPress themes and, occasionally, other page builders.

    • Build websites and site features from design references, using industry-standard code and best practices
    • Develop and maintain WordPress block themes using Gutenberg, templates, parts, patterns, and theme.json configuration
    • Work with traditional WordPress themes when needed, and occasionally with other page builder platforms
    • Write clean, well-structured HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Build or extend front-end functionality using React or similar component-based approaches when the project calls for it
    • Use Git and GitHub for version control, following team branching and code review conventions
    • Work within a continuous deployment workflow, ensuring changes move smoothly and safely from development to production
    • Troubleshoot cross-browser and cross-device issues to ensure consistent, polished results
    • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and strategists to bring projects to life
    • Look for new and more efficient ways to deliver our work, whether that’s through better tooling, reusable components, or refined processes
    • Contribute to internal documentation, component libraries, and knowledge sharing
    • Stay current with WordPress, Gutenberg, and front-end development trends and best practices

    What we’re looking for:

We’re less concerned with rigid checklists and more interested in capable, thoughtful developers who care about quality and enjoy solving problems.  Strong candidates typically have:

    • Fluency in WordPress, with experience building both traditional themes and Gutenberg block themes
    • Comfort working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience translating design references (Figma or similar) into accurate, responsive, production-ready code
    • Familiarity with Git workflows and collaborative development practices
    • Experience working within a continuous deployment or CI/CD pipeline
    • Experience working with tools like Claude Code, Copilot, or Codex
    • An eye for detail and a commitment to clean, maintainable code Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Fluent English for written and spoken communication
    • Bonus points:
      • Experience building custom Gutenberg blocks
      • Experience with React or similar component-based frameworks
      • Experience working in a multi-client or agency environment

You may not want to apply if…

    • You prefer 100% concrete specs handed to you with no ambiguity and no changes. We do our best to provide final, locked designs and specs, but things inevitably change as a project progresses
    • You’re not interested in learning or working within Gutenberg block themes
    • You’d rather work solo than collaborate with designers, PMs, and strategists
    • You’re reluctant to incorporate AI into your workflow

Front-end development here is a mix of code and configuration, and often requires curiosity, flexibility, and a willingness to find the most efficient path to a great result.

    What you get:

You’ll get a flexible schedule, unlimited time off, a competitive salary, a profit share bonus (starting in your second year), the ability to work wherever you want, a personal development budget, and all US federal holidays and multiple weeks off at the end of the year to recharge. We’ll also offset your entire carbon footprint. If you’re in the US, we also offer health insurance, disability and life insurance, and 401(k) matching.

    More about us:

We’re a group of people who are passionate about the work we do, the clients we serve, and improving our craft. We also care about each other — we don’t think of one another as coworkers or employees, but as fellow humans. From developers to designers, project managers to strategists, we bring out the best in each other.

We’ve been in business for over a decade, our whole team is remote, and we’ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Inc. 5000 and the Washington Business Journal.

    To apply:

If you’re interested, fill out our application form. An actual human from our team looks at every submission. As much as we’d like to, we can’t promise that we’ll reply to every application.

P.S. We encourage you to include a video message!
