We’re proudly digital-first, giving most Upstarters the flexibility to do their best work from wherever they thrive, alongside teammates across 80+ cities in the US and Canada. Digital-first doesn’t mean distant. We’re intentional about in-person connection through team onsites, planning sessions, and moments that spark creativity and trust. And whether you choose to work primarily from home or collaborate in-person from one of our offices in Columbus, Austin, the Bay Area, or New York City (opening Summer 2026), you’ll have the support to work in the way that works best for you.

If you’re energized by tackling meaningful problems, excited to innovate with purpose, and motivated by work that truly matters, we’d love to hear from you.

    The Team

Upstart’s Secured Lending organization is building the first-line risk and control infrastructure that will support the next stage of growth across home equity line of credit, auto direct, and auto indirect dealer products. The team helps ensure secured lending products operate with clear governance, durable controls, high-quality execution, and readiness for bank partner and regulatory review.

Loan Salability & First-Line Model Governance monitors portfolio-wide trends across loan salability, asset quality, and model performance. The team tracks results against investor and bank partner thresholds, interprets model execution patterns across secured lending channels, and escalates systemic findings before they become repurchase events, partner concerns, or examination issues.

As an Analyst, Loan Salability & First-Line Model Governance at Upstart, you will support the day-to-day execution of this function by conducting loan-level reviews, organizing portfolio and model performance data, maintaining tracking tools, documenting findings, and preparing reporting and governance deliverables. You will report to the Senior Manager, Loan Salability & First-Line Model and work closely with Credit Risk, Capital Markets, Model Risk Management, Operations, and other secured lending partners.

    How you’ll make an impact

    • Execute loan-level quality reviews across secured lending originations, assessing documentation completeness, underwriting accuracy, eligibility adherence, collateral quality, and other salability criteria.
    • Pull, organize, and analyze portfolio performance data, including early payment defaults, delinquency trends, prepayment rates, loss severity, exception patterns, and other asset quality indicators.
    • Maintain recurring asset quality and salability risk reporting packages for bank partners, Capital Markets, and internal leaders, including data pulls, analysis, formatting, and quality checks.
    • Execute first-line model performance tracking — maintaining production model tracking tools, logging override and exception trends, tracking version changes, and independently flagging patterns that may indicate performance degradation or out-of-bounds behavior for escalation.
    • Maintain issue logs, defect trackers, remediation updates, and documentation libraries so records stay current, organized, and ready for bank partner or regulatory review.
    • Drive governance and exam readiness deliverables — independently assembling evidence packages, populating reporting templates, and coordinating materials for bank partner reviews, committee deliverables, and regulatory examinations.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in financial services, credit operations, quality control, risk management, compliance, model monitoring, loan review, credit analysis, or a related analytical function.
    • Experience applying established review criteria to loan-level data, credit files, origination documentation, collateral documentation, or lending operations outputs.
    • Experience analyzing portfolio performance, asset quality indicators, credit policy exceptions, loan defects, remediation items, or operational risk trends.
    • Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, business intelligence tools, reporting tools, or similar systems to organize, analyze, and quality-check structured data.
    • Experience documenting findings, exceptions, issue status, remediation progress, or review results for risk, compliance, credit, operations, audit, bank partner, or regulatory stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with loan file review, quality control, pre-sale quality control, investor delivery, or loan salability review in mortgage, home equity, auto, or other secured lending products.
    • Knowledge of secured lending and secondary-market quality expectations, including investor eligibility standards, collateral documentation, lien perfection, representations and warranties, defect remediation, trailing performance thresholds, or repurchase risk.
    • Experience tracking and interpreting asset quality or portfolio performance indicators such as early payment default, delinquency, prepayment, loss severity, non-performing loan trends, or credit policy exception rates.
    • Knowledge of model monitoring concepts, model performance reporting, validation outputs, override and exception tracking, or model governance documentation in a lending or fintech environment.
    • Skilled in producing clear review summaries, governance materials, issue logs, reporting packages, and documentation that can support bank partner or regulatory review.

Morgan, CapitalG, and Lead Edge Capital. Learn more at grafana.com and follow us on LinkedIn and X.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.

You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.

Backend Engineer – Platform – Stacks

This role is available for candidates located in the UK, Germany, Spain, Ireland and Sweden.

    The Opportunity:

Application Core Services (AppCore) is a group within Platform, in the Foundations department. Foundations produces the Internal Engineering Platform (IEP) and partners closely with our Cloud, Enterprise, and Grafana teams. Our team develops the essential systems driving Grafana’s business operations. We utilize the grafana.com platform to engineer bespoke integrations and solutions that unify the diverse technical ecosystem of a modern software enterprise.

The team owns important domain areas that help keep both our customer workflows and internal business processes running smoothly. AppCore is made up of multiple squads, each focused on one or more of these domains. Our work includes maintaining the billing engine responsible for customer usage calculation, automating provisioning after a customer signs a contract, integrating with cloud marketplaces such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building and maintaining the user portal our customers rely on to manage their accounts.

This is a team working at the intersection of product, platform, and business operations. The systems we build are critical to how Grafana scales. We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex workflow and systems problems, improving reliability and developer experience, and building software that directly supports both customers and internal stakeholders.

As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a unique perspective to the software. Engineers at Grafana also have the opportunity to contribute to Open Source communities and collaborate across teams beyond their immediate scope.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

The AppCore Stacks squad owns the systems that create, configure, reconcile, migrate, and operate Grafana Cloud stacks at scale. A stack is the customer-facing Grafana Cloud environment that connects an organization to Grafana and the backend services it uses, including Mimir, Loki, Tempo, plugins, dashboards, data sources, and stack-level configuration.

Our work sits at the intersection of product, platform, and operations. We build the control-plane services and workflows that keep stack state aligned across grafana.com, Stack State Service (SSS), Hosted Grafana, cloud regions, and the underlying Grafana Cloud infrastructure. When this domain works well, customers get reliable stack creation, safe configuration rollout, predictable migrations, and fewer manual operational interventions.

    • Design, build, and operate reconciliation systems, including the SSS backend, to track desired stack state, detect and repair drift across stack templates, grafana.com state, Hosted Grafana, and actual customer stack configuration
    • Collaborate across SSS, grafana.com, and deployment configurations to ensure stack lifecycle workflows remain reliable, observable, and resilient
    • Improve operational efficiency by reducing deployment complexity (e.g., aiming for single PR regional SSS deployment) and contributing to the Stack Config Reconciliation project
    • Manage rollout mechanisms for provisioned plugins, dashboards, data sources, Grafana versions, release channels, and stack-level configuration
    • Support new region and cluster rollouts, including the operational paths required to bring stacks online safely in new Grafana Cloud regions
    • Improve incident response and recovery paths for stack misalignment, reconciliation failures, plugin rollout issues, and Hosted Grafana integration failures
    • Partner with Product, Hosted Grafana, Infrastructure, Support, and adjacent AppCore squads on customer-impacting stack lifecycle work
    • Contribute to roadmap planning, technical design, OnCall improvements, and long-term simplification of stack operations
    • You will help own the production behavior of the systems you build. That includes improving runbooks, dashboards, alerts, reconciliation safety, rollout controls, and recovery procedures. You should be comfortable debugging across service boundaries and making careful changes in systems that affect customer stacks

What Makes You a Great Fit:

At Grafana, we actively embrace AI-assisted and agentic development practices, integrating these technologies into both our engineering workflows and the systems we deliver. We encourage our engineers to thoughtfully leverage AI tools to enhance every stage of the lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, documentation, and operations. We also look for strategic opportunities to embed agentic capabilities within our services to eliminate toil, bolster reliability, and ensure that complex customer workflows remain resilient and safe.

We are seeking a Backend Engineer who thrives on building production systems where correctness, scalability, and operational clarity are paramount. As a remote-first organization, you should be comfortable collaborating asynchronously across time zones and taking full ownership of the critical systems powering Grafana Cloud. Our team is small and operates with a high degree of independence; you will be expected to lead major projects, coordinate across service boundaries, and help define the technical direction for our domain.

You will be particularly successful in this role if you enjoy solving challenges related to stateful systems, eventual consistency, and reconciliation loops. We value engineers who can take ambiguous lifecycle requirements and transform them into explicit, modular solutions. You should be adept at breaking down complex systems work into safe, iterative increments while clearly communicating technical tradeoffs to both internal stakeholders and adjacent product teams.

Some things you might be expected to do could include:

    • Writing efficient, readable, and easy to maintain code
    • Implementing new microservices or systems
    • Collaborating with teammates and other departments to reach consensus on proposed solutions
    • Coordinating with product and UX when needed
    • Responding to customer requests and feedback
    • When ready, participating in our follow-the-sun OnCall rotation
    • Participating in team decisions, such as roadmap planning and prioritization

    Requirements:

    • You have at least 1 year of fully remote work experience
    • You have some experience working on a SaaS platform and are familiar with common distributed systems concepts (e.g., scalability, multi-tenancy, HA).
    • Have professional experience with Golang and be willing to work across both backend service and application code
    • Care deeply about developer and user experience and the quality of the products that you work on
    • Have some experience contributing to the delivery of projects, from initial brainstorming to shipping a product to the customer.
    • You write clean, well-tested software that other engineers can understand, operate, and maintain
    • Can take on well-defined tasks, break them down, and execute iteratively to deliver working solutions and gather feedback.
    • You are willing to collaborate across teams and ensure your work is aligned with the needs of other squads and external stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and exposure to infrastructure-as-code tooling (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet, etc.).
    • Experience participating in blameless incident response and contributing to post-incident reviews.

    Bonus Points For:

    • Experience with TypeScript/Node.js
    • Experience with Kubernetes control-plane patterns, operators, reconcilers, or desired-state systems

  • Senior Quality Engineer (Montevideo)

This is a remote role for candidates located in Montevideo, Uruguay.

    About LawnStarter

LawnStarter is the nation’s leading on-demand marketplace for lawn care and outdoor services, with over $100M in annual bookings. We’re expanding beyond lawn care to become the one-stop shop for all home services, operating across three brands (LawnStarter, Lawn Love, Home Gnome) on a single shared platform.

    About Engineering at LawnStarter

We’ve spent the last two years rebuilding the platform from the ground up: new customer app, new Pro onboarding, job distribution engine, and data infrastructure. The foundation is solid. Now we’re moving into expanded service verticals, dynamic pricing, and AI-powered features at scale. Quality needs to keep up.

Our stack is PHP (Laravel) and React/React Native, with Cypress as our primary test framework. We actively use Claude Code as part of our engineering workflow, not as an experiment, but as a core part of how we work.

    The Role

As we scale into new service verticals and grow the engineering team, quality can’t be reactive. This role exists to make quality proactive: owning the automation coverage, shaping the bug process, and partnering closely with Product, Design, and the Data team to catch problems before they reach customers.

You’ll report to the Engineering Manager and be embedded across the engineering organization. This is hands-on and strategic, helping raise the quality ceiling for the whole team.

    What makes this role different:

    • Cross-functional influence: You work directly with engineers, PMs, Designers, and the Data team to surface risks early, understand requirements deeply, and propose better solutions. You may be embedded in one or two delivery teams.
    • Automation ownership: You own the strategy for building and expanding our automated test coverage, not just executing test cases someone else wrote.
    • Process shaper: You’ll identify gaps in our quality process and have the authority to fix them, not just flag them.

    What You’ll Own

    • Automated test coverage: Design and grow our E2E and integration test suite using Cypress. Set the strategy, prioritize coverage gaps, and raise the floor across the platform.
    • Bug process: Own the full lifecycle from triage to production fix. Keep it moving, keep stakeholders informed, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
    • Cross-functional quality partnership: Collaborate with PMs, Designers, and the Data team to review requirements, raise risks early, and define what “done” actually means.
    • Process improvement: Identify weaknesses in how we deliver software and propose solutions. Not just document them.
    • Exploratory testing: Test new features and existing flows on web and mobile across devices, catching what automation misses.

    Problems to Solve

Keeping automation coverage sharp as the product evolves Our E2E coverage is solid. The challenge is staying ahead: bringing new ideas, exploring different types of coverage, and finding smarter ways to automate different aspects of the application as the product grows and new service verticals come online.

Exploring new tools and leveraging AI to improve quality operations AI is changing how we build software, and it’s changing how we can test it too. There’s real opportunity here to use AI tools to increase output quality, cut repetitive work, and discover coverage gaps we’d otherwise miss. We want someone who actively explores that space, not someone who waits to be told what to use.

What Success Looks Like (Year 1)

    • Automation coverage stays strong: New features ship with automated tests as a baseline, and coverage strategies evolve with the product.
    • Bug process runs smoothly: Triage to fix cycle is predictable and stakeholders know where things stand without having to ask.
    • Deep business knowledge: You understand how the marketplace works well enough to anticipate edge cases on your own.
    • Quality process improvement shipped: At least one meaningful improvement to how we deliver quality is in place and being used by the team.

    Requirements

    Who You Are

AI-native. You use AI tools like Claude Code to write, maintain, and extend test code, not as a novelty, but as a standard part of how you work. You’re comfortable with browser MCPs, agent workflows, and building scripts that automate the boring parts of QA. This is unlikely to be a good fit if you’re skeptical of AI in the engineering workflow.

Automation-first. Your default when you find a problem is to ask how to prevent it automatically. You build test infrastructure that outlasts any individual test case. This is unlikely to be a good fit if your strength is manual testing and automation is something you tolerate rather than drive.

Customer-obsessed. You think like a user. When you’re testing a flow, you’re asking whether it actually works for a real customer, not just whether it matches the spec. This is unlikely to be a good fit if you treat quality as a checkbox rather than a standard.

Adaptable. You don’t get attached to a single tool, stack, or process. We’re in a period of rapid evolution in how software gets built and tested, especially with AI, and you lean into that rather than resist it. This is unlikely to be a good fit if you thrive only in stable, well-defined tooling environments.

Collaborative and direct. You work across Product, Design, Engineering, and Operations. You surface risks early, speak plainly about what you find, and push back when something isn’t ready to ship. This is unlikely to be a good fit if you prefer to work in isolation or soften feedback to avoid friction.

Technically solid. You’re comfortable reading and writing code. You understand front and backend web services well enough to test them properly, write meaningful SQL queries, and debug issues across the stack. This is unlikely to be a good fit if your technical depth is limited to a single layer or framework.

    This Role Is NOT

    • A manual-testing role: Most of your testing work should be building automation, not executing test scripts by hand.
    • A ticket-executor role: You’re expected to shape what gets worked on and how, not just process a backlog.
    • A single-tool role: We use Cypress today, but we adapt. If you’re only comfortable in one framework or one part of the stack, this will be limiting.
    • A role for someone who avoids ambiguity: The business is changing fast. New verticals, new flows, new edge cases. You need to be comfortable moving before everything is defined.
    • A back-of-the-line role: Quality is a first-class concern here. You’re expected to have opinions and influence the process upstream, not just verify what’s already been built.

    Benefits

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary: $45-$65k
    • Fully remote: Work from anywhere in the Americas. Deep focus and async collaboration are the norm here.
    • Fast-moving team that loves to build, learn, and grow

  • Big Bear Vacations: Owner Retention Specialist

Headquarters: Big Bear Lake, California, USA

    URL: https://www.bigbearvacations.com/

    OWNER EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST

Department: Owner Relations / Owner Experience
Market: Puerto Vallarta & Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico
Reports To: Director of Owner Relations
    Employment Type: Contractor
Work Arrangement: 100% Remote / Monday – Saturday
    Compensation: USD $1,200 monthly
Languages: Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken — required

    Position Purpose

The Owner Experience Specialist is the primary point of contact between Naya Homes and our homeowners in Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong, consistent, and proactive relationships with homeowners in order to support owner satisfaction and retention. Rather than simply reacting to problems after they occur, the Specialist is expected to identify potential concerns early and address them before they become reasons for an owner to consider terminating their relationship with Naya Homes.

The Specialist owns three key outcomes: executing the required owner communication cadence under the 33-Touch Relationship Model; providing homeowners with clear visibility into the condition and performance of their properties; and capturing property content that supports marketing efforts, social media, and owner communication.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable managing a high volume of daily communication while maintaining accurate documentation and consistent follow-up.

Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken, is an indispensable requirement for this position. The Specialist will communicate with homeowners and internal teams in both languages.

Because this is a remote contractor position, the primary focus is on achieving established goals, service standards, and KPIs. The schedule may be flexible as needed to ensure objectives are met, while maintaining the required availability and responsiveness for homeowners and the business.

    Core Responsibilities

    1. Owner Relationship Management & Communication

    • Execute 20–25 documented owner interactions per day through calls, email, and text.

    • Maintain 100% completion of required monthly touches for every assigned owner under the 33-Touch Relationship Model.

    • Maintain a balance across the three touch types:

      • Property Visibility: condition updates, inspection findings, photos, and property content.

      • Personal Relationship: relationship-building communication not directly related to a transaction or problem.

      • Informative / Value-Driven: performance, pricing, market conditions, and seasonal outlook.

    • Enter every interaction with a clear purpose and conclude it with a defined next step.

    • Complete scheduled owner check-in calls on the day they are due and rebook any rescheduled calls before the end of the same business day.

    • Maintain clear communication regarding availability, support, and expected response times so owners always know who to contact and when they can expect an answer.

    • Build trust and maintain professional, long-term relationships with homeowners.

    2. Property Visibility & Owner Updates

    • Collect property updates from Operations, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and inspection reports.

    • Review condition notes and available photos before communicating with owners to ensure updates are specific and accurate.

    • Translate operational findings into clear, plain-language owner updates, including what was found, what action is being taken, associated costs, and expected resolution timelines.

    • Respond to all open owner conversations regarding work orders.

    • Ensure that no work order is dispatched to an owner’s property without documented owner approval.

    • Ensure that every unresolved property issue has a clearly assigned next action and responsible person.

    • Provide owners with meaningful visibility into the work being performed on their property.

    3. Escalation & Churn Risk Identification

    • Identify early signs of owner dissatisfaction or potential churn, including declining sentiment, slow or short responses, revenue complaints, recurring property condition issues, questions regarding contract terms, or references to other management companies.

    • Escalate concerns on the same business day.

    • Add applicable owners to the Owner Churn Board and keep records current as situations develop.

    • Confirm ownership of the next action for every escalation and ensure each open case has a clearly assigned responsible person.

    • Communicate potential risks early rather than waiting for issues to escalate.

    4. Documentation & CRM Discipline

    • Log every owner interaction in Monday.com on the same day it occurs.

    • Maintain the Owner Churn Board on a daily basis.

    • Schedule all future owner touches and follow-ups before closing out the day.

    • Prepare a clear next-day action list before logging off.

    • Complete a weekly CRM documentation self-audit and correct any gaps identified.

    • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records of all owner communications.

    Daily Operating Rhythm

    Start of Day

    • Log into RingCentral and Monday.com.

    • Review the Owner Engagement Tracker.

    • Identify owners due for required touches.

    • Review notes from inspections, maintenance, turnovers, and operations.

    • Flag owners with open concerns, negative or declining sentiment, or recent performance or condition issues.

    During the Day

    • Complete scheduled owner check-in calls.

    • Send required emails and text messages.

    • Complete scheduled property-content activities remotely or through available internal resources.

    • Collect and communicate relevant property updates.

    • Respond to open work order conversations.

    • Escalate concerns on the same business day.

    • Maintain consistent follow-up with assigned homeowners.

    End of Day

    • Ensure all owner interactions are documented in Monday.com.

    • Update the Owner Churn Board.

    • Schedule future touches and follow-ups.

    • Confirm that there are zero undocumented conversations.

    • Prepare the next-day action list.

    Weekly Close

    • Maintain 100% progress toward required monthly owner touches.

    • Ensure there are no missed follow-ups.

    • Complete the CRM documentation self-audit.

    • Review owner sentiment trends.

    • Identify unresolved owner issues requiring attention.

    • Identify owners requiring proactive outreach during the following week.

    Performance Standards & KPIs

Performance will be measured monthly against the following targets:

    • Daily owner touches: 20–25 per day.

    • Required monthly touch completion: 100%.

    • Documentation accuracy: 95% or higher.

    • Undocumented conversations: Zero.

    • Same-day escalation compliance: 100%.

    • Overdue escalations beyond SLA: Zero.

    • Owner sentiment trend: Stable or improving.

    • Overall KPI attainment: 90% or higher.

    • Retention saves: Tracked and reviewed through the Owner Churn Board.

Sustained performance below the established targets may result in a documented coaching plan.

    Accountability Standards

    • Missed follow-ups are considered a performance issue.

    • Undocumented conversations are considered a performance issue.

    • Dispatching a work order without documented owner approval is considered a performance issue.

    • Early escalation is considered a positive behavior and is recognized accordingly.

    • Proactive communication is an expectation of the role, not an additional benefit or optional activity.

    • The Specialist is expected to take ownership of assigned conversations, follow-ups, and open issues through resolution or appropriate escalation.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken — indispensable.

    • Great opportunity to progress and advance,

    • Collaborating with team members across the globe.

If you enjoy paid advertising as much as you enjoy building smarter ways to run it, we’d love to hear from you. Tell us about the campaigns you’ve owned and the AI or automation you’ve built into your work.

AI coding agents are a force multiplier here — they give a small, senior team the leverage to ship more, faster, and at a higher bar for quality. We hire engineers who are wired for ownership and energized by shipping to a real marketplace with customers and pros on both sides.

    The Role

You’re the engineering anchor of an initiative — working as part of a tight team with your PM and designer, and alongside engineering peers on adjacent initiatives. You have a hand in the full lifecycle: shaping the problem, deciding the technical approach, directing AI agents to implement much of the code, shipping to production, and — with your team — owning the outcome.

You’re measured by impact, not by lines of code merged. When an agent can ship something safely, your job is to make sure it’s done right and the metric moves. When the work calls for careful, hand-written code in a sensitive area, you write it yourself.

    What makes this role exciting:

    • You ship end-to-end. From problem-framing through production to the post-launch metric review — you see the whole arc and own the result with your team.
    • You work as a true product partner. You sit at the table with PM and design, bringing engineering judgment to product calls and product sense to engineering calls.
    • You get real autonomy — with the right checkpoints. You make most technical calls yourself, with architect review on significant architectural decisions and fast input from peers.
    • You operate at a staff bar. You’re trusted to make the call, ship the hard thing, and stand behind the outcome.

    What You’ll Own

    • The technical approach — architecture, data model, integration choices, rollout plan, observability, and rollback strategy for your initiative. You make most calls yourself and bring significant architectural decisions to architect review; you document them, and revisit if the data says you were wrong.
    • Implementation quality — the prompts, guardrails, evals, tests, and review loop that let agents ship safe, correct, production-ready code. Most lines will be agent-authored, and you’re accountable for them — held to the same standard as the rest of the team working in a shared codebase.
    • Cross-functional partnership — daily working contact with your PM (scope, tradeoffs) and designer (UX decisions, in-tool prototyping), regular collaboration with engineering peers, and weekly check-ins with your EM.
    • The initiative outcome — the metric the initiative was set up to move. With your PM, you present results 2–4 weeks post-launch and share the “did it work” answer.
    • A high bar for what ships — production correctness, security, performance, observability, and the experience for customers and pros. Agents accelerate you; they don’t lower the bar.

    Problems to Solve

Leading AI agents at a staff-level quality bar Most of the code on your initiative will be authored by AI agents. The craft is making them ship as if a senior engineer wrote it: prompts that encode our conventions, evals that catch issues before merge, tests that exercise the edges, observability that catches a regression before a customer does. How do you build a workflow that lets a small team ship far more than its size would suggest?

Owning decisions with high autonomy You have real latitude to make and document technical calls quickly — with architect review on the big architectural ones and peers to pressure-test your thinking. How do you move fast, keep your team aligned, and stay accountable to the outcome?

Shipping outcomes, not features Each initiative is measured by a metric — a conversion rate, a retention curve, a pro-funnel KPI, a unit-economics shift. You’re accountable for the number alongside your team. How do you scope to actually move it, decide what *not* to build, and have the discipline to follow up 2–4 weeks after launch?

What Success Looks Like (Year 1)

    • Initiative outcomes hit — You’ve shipped 3–4 initiatives end-to-end, and at least two clearly moved their metric (with the post-launch review to prove it).
    • Agent workflow that travels — The prompts, evals, and review loop you built are picked up by peers on other initiatives.
    • Faster cycle time — Median time from problem-framing to first production rollout on your initiatives is meaningfully shorter.
    • Quality holds — No customer- or pro-facing regression traceable to agent-authored code that slipped through your review.
    • Visible leverage — Peers point to artifacts you left behind — runbooks, evals, agent workflows, post-launch write-ups — as references they use.

    Requirements

    Who You Are

    • AI-native. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent are how you ship today — daily, on production work. You have real opinions about prompts, evals, agent loops, and review workflows, and you know when to let the agent run versus write it yourself.
    • Operating at a lead level. Whatever your current title, you’ve been the person making the call, shipping the hard thing, and standing behind whether it worked.
    • Outcome-driven. You measure your week in “did the metric move” and “did the experience get better.” You read the post-launch dashboard and own the answer.
    • A strong horizontal partner. You hold your own with a strong PM and designer, and you collaborate well with engineering peers in a shared codebase. You bring engineering judgment to product calls and product judgment to engineering calls.
    • Decisive and documented. You make architecture, data-model, and rollout calls, write them down, get fast input, and move.
    • A force multiplier. Your impact compounds beyond your own initiative because you leave reusable artifacts behind — agent workflows, evals, runbooks, post-launch reviews.
    • Customer- and pro-minded. This is a real marketplace with real people on both sides, and you care about the outcomes for both.

    Good to Know

    • An individual-contributor role with room to grow. People management sits with the EM — but the path into management is an open door for those who want it.
    • A product-engineering role, end-to-end. You ship features that move metrics; platform and architecture work happen inside the initiative when the outcome needs them.
    • Hands-on, with a high quality bar. Agents handle much of the implementation; you bring the judgment, design, safety, and accountability. The bar is high.
    • Shipping to a live marketplace. With $100M+ in bookings, customers and pros use what you ship within the same week.
