Hallow is on a mission to help people pray. We\u2019re the No. 1 prayer app in the world, with more than 700 million prayers prayed across 150+ countries. We’re building a product that is authentically Christian and Catholic, while at the same time a resource for anyone looking to grow deeper in a relationship with God. We believe that people are hungry for peace, and that there is no surer way to find it than by learning to sit in silence with Christ: \u201cCome to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest\u201d (Mt 11:28).\u00a0<\/div>\n

We launched the app in December 2018 and have been blown away with the incredible growth & traction. Hallow has been downloaded more than 22 million times with over 250,000 5-star reviews. Tldr: <\/b>We are scaling and growing quickly and are looking for a writer to help us create content for various projects on the app. This person will play a critical role on our content team in carrying projects from start to finish.<\/span><\/div>\n
What You’ll Do<\/div>\n
  • Edit: <\/b>You\u2019ll work with our team of writers to edit and proofread their work before it gets recorded, then, you\u2019ll work with our audio team to make sure our content sounds incredible before it makes its way to our users.<\/li>\n
  • Curate the Home Screen:<\/b> You\u2019ll work to present Hallow content to our users in the most effective and timely way possible.<\/li>\n
  • Cross-functional:<\/b> You\u2019ll work across multiple teams to make sure each content launch is calculated and coordinated.<\/li>\n
  • All the Details: <\/b>Once recordings are finished, you\u2019ll be responsible for all of the details in launching the content (descriptions, testing, QA etc.)<\/li>\n
    What We’re Looking For<\/div>\n
  • Passion:<\/b> First & foremost, we\u2019re looking for someone excited about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/li>\n
  • Grit & detail-oriented:<\/b> Attention to detail is critical for our work, and in this role, it\u2019s absolutely crucial. You\u2019ll need perseverance and hard work to push some projects across the finish line.<\/li>\n
  • Project management: <\/b>Creating systems and processes will be vital for this role. You\u2019ll also work collaboratively with the content and audio team on projects and with several others across the company. You\u2019ll need to roll with the punches if deadlines change or new needs arise. People skills are a must.<\/li>\n
  • Experience: <\/b>Bachelor\u2019s and\/or master\u2019s degree in writing or theology, and at least 3 years of writing experience. Having experience professionally publishing content is preferred.<\/li>\n
