{"id":464,"date":"2025-01-11T02:14:12","date_gmt":"2025-01-11T02:14:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tradefinder.help\/?p=464"},"modified":"2025-01-11T02:14:12","modified_gmt":"2025-01-11T02:14:12","slug":"finance-director-cfo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tradefinder.help\/?p=464","title":{"rendered":"Finance Director\/CFO"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a knowledgeable Financial Manager to drive the company&#8217;s financial operations.<\/p>\n<p>In this role you will work under and directly report to the CEO\/COO in assisting financial reporting and analysis of the business, preparation of financials for management or audit, budgeting, and forecast modeling, supporting compliance, revenue and cost analysis, and tax planning.<\/p>\n<p>You will be part of a passionate and dedicated Finance team, supported by an external accounting firm\/specialist where needed.<\/p>\n<p>This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing US based company in which you will have the exposure to grow your skillset in a foreign network.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts within agreed timeframes<\/li>\n<li>Preparing regular operational cash flow forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and review data submissions to local and national authorities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure sales invoicing processes are adhered to and all invoices are correctly processed<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records &#8211; overseeing and reviewing transactions, with hands-on intervention when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the debtors and creditors ageing<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring KPIs to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvements<\/li>\n<li>Oversee balance sheet reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing payroll and monthly payment runs.<\/li>\n<li>Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices<\/li>\n<li>Support in preparing for and meeting statutory, regulatory and investor reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the annual financial audit and preparing the annual accounts<\/li>\n<li>Assisting Company tax computations<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring statutory returns are accurate and submitted timeously<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting, finance or similar degree<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of financial accounting experience<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience managing or supervising a team<\/li>\n<li>Experience and understanding of applicable financial standards, regulations and compliance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>High level of planning and organisation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CA\/ACCA\/CIMA qualification<\/li>\n<li>Experience using Quickbooks or an equivalent accounting system<\/li>\n<li>Experience using payment systems such as Stripe, WISE and\/or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Experience and understanding of US tax requirements<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to US accounting and tax practices<\/li>\n<li>Experience creating and maintaining financial models<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fully remote position.<\/p>\n<p>Salary Ranges from $3,000-$4,000\/ Month.<\/p>\n<p>(commensurate based on experience.) <br \/>Hours are flexible based on requirements.
