This role has a specific twist: you&#8217;ll need to build out large waterfall timelines with full delivery phases, then execute against them using Scrum Master ceremonies. If you&#8217;re comfortable operating at the intersection of structured waterfall planning and Agile execution, this role is built for that.<\/p>\n<h2>What You&#8217;ll Do<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they&#8217;re effective and productive<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Identify and remove obstacles impeding team progress, working with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Champion Agile principles and methodologies, providing coaching and guidance to team members and stakeholders<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Build out large waterfall timelines with full delivery phases, then execute against them using Scrum ceremonies<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment with open communication<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Monitor and report on sprint and project progress using Agile tools to track performance and identify improvement areas<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Lead the team in identifying and implementing process improvements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Collaborate with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and priorities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Facilitate communication between the team and stakeholders to maintain transparency and shared understanding<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What You Bring<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience with the Waterfall methodology<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Familiarity with SAFe, including experience conducting PI planning<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/weworkremotely.com\/remote-jobs\/toptal-scrum-master-agile-waterfall-hybrid-delivery-remote\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/weworkremotely.com\/remote-jobs\/toptal-scrum-master-agile-waterfall-hybrid-delivery-remote<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Headquarters: Remote URL: https:\/\/www.toptal.com\/ About the Role We&#8217;re looking for a dedicated Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices and drive successful project delivery across the organization.
