{"id":2300,"date":"2026-07-01T18:24:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-01T18:24:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tradefinder.help\/?p=2300"},"modified":"2026-07-01T18:24:28","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T18:24:28","slug":"captain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tradefinder.help\/?p=2300","title":{"rendered":"Captain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CAPTAIN (AUTEC-2025-23401):<\/p>\n<p>Bowhead seeks a Captain to oversee the safe operation of going vessels over 150 in length, planning and execution of the exercise voyage plan in support of the Atlantic Undersea Test &amp; Evaluation Center (AUTEC) at Andros Island, Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p>Essential functions to include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Ensuring the safety of all crew and passengers. <\/li>\n<li> Managing all crew assets to safely and effectively accomplish the exercise plan. <\/li>\n<li> Navigating the vessel in a safe manner which maximizes the exercise plan execution and minimizes risk. <\/li>\n<li> Monitoring vessel position to ensure proper deployment of MK30 and MK39 targets and the recovery of exercise torpedoes. <\/li>\n<li> Communicating with range control, other range assets, crew and passengers, determining corrective action in the event that the vessel experiences a system failure, and accomplishing all post mission debriefings and documentation. <\/li>\n<li> USCG Master 100 Ton Oceans license, Radar, Bridge Resource Management, and STCW certifications and endorsements. <\/li>\n<li> Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite &#8211; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. <\/li>\n<li> Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. <\/li>\n<li> Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.\n<p><\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Physical Demands:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to lift and \/or move up to 50 pounds <\/li>\n<li>Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time <\/li>\n<li>Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically\n<p><\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.
