If you\u2019re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values data integrity, and enjoys enhancing financial processes, this role is perfect for you.<\/p>\n\n<h2><b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/h2>\n\n<h3><b>Monthly &amp; Quarterly Reporting<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Lead the completion of monthly and quarterly financial deliverables and month-end close.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Manage overhead accruals, prepayments, provisions (doubtful debts, holdbacks, leave liabilities), and BAS\/IAS preparation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Oversee revenue recognition processes, including deferrals, WIP, and milestone billing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Manage tangible and intangible assets, including related depreciation and amortisation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Handle inventory reconciliations and all monthly accounting journals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><b>Financial Analysis &amp; Stakeholder Support<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Prepare and update monthly\/quarterly QSR reporting for business units.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Provide financial insights, analysis, and problem-solving support to internal stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Build strong business partnerships and respond to internal\/external queries in a timely manner.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Understand key business metrics and their drivers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><b>Governance &amp; Process Management<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Ensure documentation, review, and continuous improvement of finance processes, policies, and procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Assist in internal and external audits.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Support treasury activities and ensure adherence to transfer pricing requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><b>Integration &amp; Leadership<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Support financial integration of newly acquired companies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Work closely with Business Unit Leaders and integration teams to optimise finance processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Supervise and mentor junior accountants, ensuring quality output and supporting professional growth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>What We\u2019re Looking For<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Minimum <b>3 years of professional accounting experience<\/b> (commercial environment preferred).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; <b>CA\/CPA qualification<\/b> (or equivalent) preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (IFRS \/ A-IFRS).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Advanced computer literacy, including accounting systems and MS Office.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Apply Now<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for a role where you can grow, contribute, and work flexibly, we\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>To apply:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/weworkremotely.com\/remote-jobs\/harris-global-business-services-financial-accountant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/weworkremotely.com\/remote-jobs\/harris-global-business-services-financial-accountant<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Headquarters: Remote &#8211; GBS PHL MNL URL: http:\/\/harrisgbs.com We are looking for a Financial Accountant who will take a leading role in driving the finance function and supporting the Group Financial Controller in balancing financial, commercial, and compliance matters across the organisation.
