The ideal candidate is passionate about AI technologies and has a strong background in data curation, attention to detail, technical expertise in AI and ML concepts, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Team Leadership and Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guide and mentor a large team of tutors, providing direction and support to ensure data integrity.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct performance analyses, identify areas for improvement, and implement training initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and employee engagement through development initiatives and performance reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and create strategies, including gamification elements, to motivate and recognize team members who exceed expectations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project Management and Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine project scope, objectives, and quality control guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Support the accurate projections and detailed timelines for efficient project execution.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritize tasks, adjust resources, and manage the project flow to address blockers and ensure timely delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Optimize resource allocation by distributing tasks and personnel across projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Data Quality and Integrity<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You\u00e2\u0080\u0099re not afraid to dive into the data and get in the trenches to understand labeling inefficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the integrity and security of data throughout the annotation process.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze data and evaluation sets to identify key findings, communicate insights effectively, and suggest actionable improvements based on model behaviors.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain active communication with project leads, providing updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage the sharing of best practices and lessons learned among team members to foster continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Collaboration and Innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interact and collaborate with technical teams to develop or refine internal tooling that supports project objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Stay informed of the latest industry trends and technologies that could impact data curation processes.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development and optimization of annotation tools and methodologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Required Qualifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong background in data curation or related fields, with hands-on experience in data quality and labeling processes.<\/li>\n<li>Technical expertise in AI and machine learning concepts, tools, and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data sets, identify trends and anomalies, and provide actionable insights.<\/li>\n<li>Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide and mentor teams.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented approach, ensuring high-quality outputs and overseeing project-wide quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in creating and maintaining documentation for technical processes, guidelines, and training materials.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelors degree.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are passionate about AI, have a strong focus on data integrity, are scrappy, and possess the skills to lead and develop a high-performing team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We offer the following employee benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive cash and equity-based compensation<\/li>\n<li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance<\/li>\n<li>Unlimited paid time off subject to prior approval<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Annual Salary Range:<\/strong> $104,000 to $163,000<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: Remote or San Francisco, CA \/ Palo Alto, CA<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re looking for a talented and driven Human Data Manager to join our team and make a real impact on the development of our products.
