This is not about optimizing an existing structure \u00e2\u0080\u0094 it is about designing, building, and scaling the operational backbone of Cloetta\u00e2\u0080\u0099s U.S. business. As a key member of the U.S. management team, you will help define how Cloetta operates, competes, and grows in one of the world\u00e2\u0080\u0099s most dynamic consumer markets.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>YOUR MISSION &amp; THE IMPACT YOU\u00e2\u0080\u0099LL MAKE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Operations &amp; Logistics Director \u00e2\u0080\u0093 US, your mission is to build and lead a viable, scalable U.S. operations and route\u00e2\u0080\u0091to\u00e2\u0080\u0091market setup that enables Cloetta\u00e2\u0080\u0099s commercial ambitions today and in the future.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>You will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Act as the architect and owner<\/strong> of the U.S. operational model, from import and logistics through warehousing and customer delivery.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Design a scalable setup<\/strong> capable of supporting growth in volume, customers, and channels.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ensure full U.S. regulatory compliance<\/strong> (FDA, FSMA, FSVP, customs) as a baseline requirement and license to operate.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Serve as a core member of the U.S. management team<\/strong>, shaping how Cloetta operates in the U.S. alongside commercial and central leaders.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Partner closely with central operations, supply chain, quality, and procurement<\/strong> to translate global standards into a fit\u00e2\u0080\u0091for\u00e2\u0080\u0091purpose U.S. reality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a role for a builder \u00e2\u0080\u0094 combining strategic design, senior judgment, and hands\u00e2\u0080\u0091on leadership when required.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Build the U.S. Operating &amp; Route\u00e2\u0080\u0091to\u00e2\u0080\u0091Market Model<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and establish the end\u00e2\u0080\u0091to\u00e2\u0080\u0091end U.S. operational setup across import, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.<\/li>\n<li>Own and drive the operational route to market, ensuring reliability, service levels, and cost discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Select, structure, and manage key partners (3PLs, brokers, carriers) with scalability in mind.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Create a Scalable, Controlled Platform<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement operating models, governance, and SOPs that enable growth without loss of control.<\/li>\n<li>Anticipate future needs (volume growth, local co\u00e2\u0080\u0091packing, new channels) and design accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Transition the U.S. business from \u00e2\u0080\u009csetup mode\u00e2\u0080\u009d to repeatable, disciplined execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Embed Compliance as a Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure full compliance with U.S. regulatory and food safety requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the senior operational interface for audits, inspections, and escalations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lead With and Through Central Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner closely with global Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Procurement teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure alignment between global standards and U.S. execution.<\/li>\n<li>Represent U.S. operational needs in central decision\u00e2\u0080\u0091making forums.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>U.S. Leadership Contribution<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be an active, shaping member of the U.S. management team.<\/li>\n<li>Bring structure, pace, and operational credibility to a growing organization.<\/li>\n<li>Support the broader U.S. growth agenda beyond operations alone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>WHO YOU ARE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>You are a senior operations leader motivated by building business processes rather than inheriting them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8\u00e2\u0080\u009312+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain within food, CPG, or other regulated consumer goods.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of building or scaling operating models, ideally in new markets or high\u00e2\u0080\u0091growth environments.<\/li>\n<li>Strong, pragmatic understanding of U.S. import, logistics, and regulatory frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with external partners and within global matrix organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Leadership Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic thinker with strong execution bias.<\/li>\n<li>Commercially aware, understanding how operations enable growth and customer success.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable operating with ambiguity and making decisions early.<\/li>\n<li>Credible, calm, and confident at leadership\u00e2\u0080\u0091team level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT DO WE OFFER? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pay<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The compensation range for this position is based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
