Contract July to November.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Learning &amp; Development Specialist to provide temporary coverage during a maternity leave. This role will support learning initiatives, training administration, content organization, and learning program execution. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and consistently drives projects to completion.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the administration and coordination of learning and development programs.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update training matrices, learning records, and training documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with learning management system (LMS) activities and learning operations.<\/li>\n<li>Organize, track, and manage learning-related projects to ensure deadlines are met.<\/li>\n<li>Curate and refine existing content into learner-friendly formats.<\/li>\n<li>Create and edit PowerPoint presentations, training materials, content outlines, and job aids.<\/li>\n<li>Summarize complex information into clear, concise learning content.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and support learning initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor project timelines and proactively identify and resolve obstacles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting Learning &amp; Development, Training, Organizational Development, or Talent Development functions.<\/li>\n<li>2-4 years of experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS); Workday Learning experience is a plus but not required.<\/li>\n<li>Strong project coordination and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience maintaining training matrices and learning documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to create, edit, and refine presentation materials and learning content.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written communication skills with the ability to summarize information effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working independently with limited direction.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities and changing business needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Desired Traits<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly organized and detail-oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Strong follow-through and execution skills.<\/li>\n<li>Agile and adaptable when priorities change.<\/li>\n<li>Resourceful problem solver.<\/li>\n<li>Self-directed learner with a proactive approach.<\/li>\n<li>Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Remote and ONLY candidates in the central time zone. 2-5 years of experience. $40.00 an hour.
