You own your Tribe&#8217;s direction, prioritization, and outcomes while working hands-on with design and engineering to ship work that matters. You&#8217;ll do this as we build and launch\u00a0<strong>Toggl Focus<\/strong>, our consolidated planning, time tracking, and time intelligence product.<\/p>\n<p>The salary for this position is\u00a0<strong>\u20ac90,000 annually.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can work\u00a0<strong>from anywhere in the world as long as your main location is between UTC-4 and UTC+4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As a Senior Product Manager, you own a product area end-to-end: its direction, prioritization, and outcomes. You are accountable not for process, but for clarity, judgment, and results. You work hands-on with design, engineering, and revenue to identify the highest-value opportunities, shape effective solutions, and ship improvements that matter. You act as a player-coach, raising the quality of thinking, decision-making, and execution within your Tribe.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your main responsibilities will be:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Direction and prioritization<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Set clear direction for your Tribe.<\/strong>\u00a0Define goals, translate company priorities into team focus, and identify the biggest opportunities and risks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Make strong prioritization calls.<\/strong>\u00a0Decide what to do and what not to do, sequence work sensibly, and keep low-value work out of the team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Develop a strong point of view<\/strong>\u00a0on your product area. Understand users, the market, and the business deeply enough to make tradeoffs and say no clearly, without escalating decisions unnecessarily.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Discovery and solution shaping<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Build real understanding of user problems<\/strong>\u00a0through customer calls, support and sales input, user research, and data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Shape solutions with design and engineering.<\/strong>\u00a0Frame problems, compare options and constraints, and keep solutions tied to user and business value.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hands-on leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Lead designers within your Tribe.<\/strong>\u00a0Guide prototyping, user testing, and UX quality as embedded builders, not through handoffs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Stay close to the work through execution.<\/strong>\u00a0Review flows, experiments, metrics, and shipped output. Resolve ambiguity quickly. Help the team converge faster.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Coach your team<\/strong>\u00a0by sharpening problem framing, improving decision quality, and keeping focus on the highest-value work.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Metrics, learning, and communication<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Define success upfront<\/strong>\u00a0for every initiative with clear OKRs, KPIs, leading indicators, and kill criteria. Measure impact after launch and decide whether to iterate, scale, or roll back.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Participate in roadmap reviews<\/strong>, sharing upcoming priorities with leadership and internal stakeholders and surfacing tradeoffs and risks early.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Explain direction and decisions simply.<\/strong>\u00a0Keep stakeholders aligned with minimal overhead.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>AI as core leverage<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Use AI tools extensively in your daily work<\/strong>\u00a0for research, synthesis, analysis, drafting, exploration, and prototyping, and set that expectation across your Tribe. AI fluency is not optional. It&#8217;s part of how you increase your speed, depth, and impact.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>About You<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You will thrive in this role if you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Have\u00a0<strong>proven product management experience<\/strong>, ideally in B2B SaaS, or have built and shipped products people actually use, whether as a PM, founder, or in another role where you owned product decisions end to end.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Hold an\u00a0<strong>extremely high bar for product quality.<\/strong>\u00a0You&#8217;ve developed real craft in product development. You know what great looks like, you notice the details others miss, and you don&#8217;t ship work you wouldn&#8217;t be proud to put your name on.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Have\u00a0<strong>strong product judgment.<\/strong>\u00a0You develop a clear point of view on your area, make grounded tradeoffs, and say no without needing permission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Are a\u00a0<strong>problem-first thinker.<\/strong>\u00a0You start from user needs and business impact, not from solutions or feature lists.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Can\u00a0<strong>define and own outcomes rigorously.<\/strong>\u00a0You set KPIs, run experiments, interpret data, and make tough calls based on results. You&#8217;re accountable for whether the work matters, not just whether it gets done.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Thrive in ambiguity and move fast.<\/strong>\u00a0You don&#8217;t wait for perfect information or permission.
